We are a design studio with a focus on the ceramic industry.
Our team comprises designers, graphic artists, creatives and technicians, all with a shared goal of providing global consultancy to the ceramic industry on the creation of new surfaces for architecture.
We are intellectually curious, and passionate about design research - it is definitely the driving force behind our business.

We were born from a challenge that two men, "almost friends", set themselves - one of artistic extraction, the other with technical skill.
On 1 January 2000, EgoDesign was born.
We are Marco Barbieri and Uber Montorsi. Since the very beginning, we have followed a path that has been anything but easy, and highly ambitious: seeking to forge out a distinctive position of excellence on the traditional ceramic design market.
Almost 20 years on, EgoDesign is a studio/laboratory capable of taking charge not only of the design but also of the technical development of each ceramic product, making use of the latest technologies and the development and application of new materials.
We design surfaces for the ceramic industry.
Our philosophy is to make the products of large and small ceramic groups special, and to be a synergistic part of this process.
Entering our laboratory is not just about immersing yourself in the development of new materials, but also and above all it is about enhancing, transforming, customising every surface, to create original and exclusive solutions for ceramic companies.
We then work alongside our partners in the technological development of each project, giving ideas in the complex sector of production possibilities offered by plant technology and identifying/verifying possible material applications.
Technical inspections are an integral part of our modus operandi. We never offer anything we can't deliver using state-of-the-art technologies.
